Phil Margham:
Director of Learning Innovation at Liverpool John Moores University
and a member of the Strategic Management Group, JMU's senior executive committee.
He is responsible for the University's Learning, Teaching and Assessment Strategy,
and the HEFCE Teaching Quality Enhancement funding that supports the strategy.
Phil has a long experience of introducing new academic products and innovative,
flexible ways of learning. He has managed curricular development projects
in several areas, including work-based learning and key skills integration,
has recently developed a framework for a Foundation Degree Consortium between
JMU and FE partners, and has pioneered a detailed protocol for the collaborative
pooling of CPD modules presented within a web based system: the Cheshire &
Merseyside Modular Scheme (CAMMS).

Anthony Beal:
Academic Co-ordinator of The Learning Matrix
His responsibilities within the project include: identifying appropriate Learning
Packages within academic departments, co-ordinating the preparation of Learning
Packages, overseeing the recruitment and induction of students into the project
and managing the delivery of the Learning Packages and exit strategy for students.
He is also liaising with administrative departments and CETIS to agree metadata
standards and vocabularies to describe modules and courses.
As part of his role as Internet and Systems Librarian at West Cheshire College
Anthony is responsible for developing the college's online library, finding
and categorising web resources to support the curriculum, administrating the
college's Virtual Learning Environment and maintaining the college's Intranet
and library management system.
